Robby Naish has been a pioneer of kitesurfing since the beginning. His involvement with Redbull in creating a competition circuit put Kitesurfing on TV in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers. This opened up the sport to the main stream public. He made a name for himself in Windsurfing that is of legendary proportions. Robby dominated amateur windsurfing, winning the World Championships in 1977, 1978, and 1979, all before turning pro. Now with 23 world windsurfing crowns, he is a member of the Laureus World Sports Academy’s Global Legends of Sport alongside Michael Jordan, Edwin Moses, and Tony Hawk.
He has built his watersports company from his base in Hawaii and designs & distributes his brand globally. Robby Naish has had a massive involvement in the development of Kitesurfing as a sport in both the design of equipment and in the promotion of the sport as a whole to the public.
